My name is Amir, I work at the intersection of computer science and statistics. During the past 12 years, I developed a variety of analytical solutions with applications in computer vision, Natural language processing, recommender systems, and time series analysis. I hold a PhD in Statistics from the University of California in San Diego. The focus of my PhD research was on two subjects developing an algorithm for dimensionality reduction and community detection in large graphs. My current projects are related to the application of machine learning in healthcare, specifically clinical decision support systems.
