     Link is looking for actively enrolled juniors (rising seniors) who would be interested in a Computer Engineering related internship on our Technology and Data team this upcoming summer. Summer interns will have the opportunity to become exposed to several disciplines within the Technology and Data organization and learn how Link uses technology as a differentiator in its Commercial Real Estate business.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with software & data testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of new software and data updates to installed applications
    • Assist with the maintenance and monitoring of website functionality (e.g., links, calculators, news feeds) and website security
    • Maintains, integrates and implements software applications and data within the organization
    • Collaborates with internal and/or external resources (i.e., content owners, editors, web developers) to maintain current information and tools on the organization's website(s)
    • Assist with maintaining, integrating, and implementing data solutions within the organization
    • Assists with data foundation testing, quality assurance, and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of new data solutions
    • Helps to ensure proper controls are established and maintained over test and production systems
    • Conducts performance monitoring, capacity planning, workload modeling and predictive analyses to identify and resolve potential issues (e.g., performance, security breaches)
    • Collaborates with internal and/or external resources to maintain current information and tools on the organization's website(s)
    • Performs routine assignments commensurate with an entry level engineer
    • Develops competence by performing structured work assignments
    • Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems
    • Receives instruction, guidance, and direction from more senior level roles

     

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Current junior (rising senior) undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institution
    • Pursuing a degree in computer science, real estate, economics, mathematics, or related field
    • Strong interest in learning how to apply technology and data skills to the commercial real estate industry
    • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills since interaction with senior level management will be required
    • Minimum 3.0 GPA required
    • Must currently be actively enrolled for consideration of internship
    • Working knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: MySQL, PowerApps, Microsoft Flow, MSSQL, HTML 5, JavaScript, Okta
