This apprenticeship opportunity will run through March 14, 2022 - September 14, 2022. The chosen candidate will join the [1] Episys team, a core platform of Jack Henry’s, as an entry-level Software Engineer in Test (SDET). This is a full-time position and must be worked out of the Allen, TX-area or San Diego, CA.

What you’ll be responsible for:
* Partnering with the product scrum team to write test cases and bringing these test cases to life through automation.
* Performing various software development duties by using various programming languages to create/write automation tests.
* Documenting your findings and standardizing new methods and processes.

What you’ll need to have:
* Enrolled at an accredited university or technical program, coding/software bootcamp, or pursuing technical certifications.
* Ability to work full-time hours throughout the duration of the apprenticeship program.
* Meet legal requirements to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period of time without any sponsorship from Jack Henry.

What would be nice for you to have:
* Academic or working experience with any object oriented programming language - C# or Java preferred.
* A basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the value it provides in delivering superior customer solutions.
* A passion and excitement for cross-collaboration and group work.
