If you love the React and NodeJS ecosystem and want to design and write modern best in class JavaScript we have a position for you. We are a full stack React and NodeJS shop. We continuously develop high quality React pages comprised of our own elegant crafted React components delivering a modern profitable product to our customers. American Express Digital Engineering Experience group pioneers in full stack development. Responsibilities:
You would be writing, testing, and delivering features to the production systems. Responsibilities include development, styling and deployment of React based web pages on a full stack NodeJS based REST & GraphQL based backend. Our teams implement features and create variant React Tests that are played out on our live pages so expect experimentation to be ppart of the sprint cycle.
We would expect you to follow the neo-classical scrum agile process with 2-week sprint cycles working closely with our product teams.
Requirements:
- Enthusiasm for everything JavaScript
- Knowledge of the NPM ecosystem
- 2+ year track record in React, Node, styling, Jest
- Understanding of what Webpack and babel do
- Understanding of eslint and quality tools
- Understanding of Rest, GraphQL, ExpressJS
- Understanding of recent JS developments
