Title: Java Software Developer

Duration: 5+ Months

Location: Rochester NY

(Position can be Remote with at least 5 days onsite at Rochester NY every month)

Description
The candidate will be expected to work both with teams and independently to create and implement standardized development procedures. They will be expected to define requirements, design solutions, develop, test, validate, work with users, and implement solutions based on user requirements. They will be called upon to investigate application issues, troubleshoot error handling and outages, identify root cause and implement remediation for issues. They will be expected to work proactively and work with cross functional teams.

Required Skills And Platform

  • Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Have strong technical skills in Oracle and JAVA
  • SQL / PL SQL
  • Java/SWING/J2EE
  • Oracle 18c
  • Oracle Reports 10g
  • IBM WebSphere Application Server
  • Experience with source code management systems - SubVersion a plus
