Solidus is searching for a Software Developer.
Candidate will join a team that identifies and evaluates threats to U.S. use of space for military, intelligence, civil and commercial purposes. Successful individual will be responsible for creating custom interface emulators and simulators to emulate portions of the satellite payload, as well as develop specialized tools required for a Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) testbed. Developer will support detailed software design, perform system trades on possible implementations, execute the software design, test the software, and support operation of the tool during testing of the satellite payload.

Required Experience

Architecting software projects based off high-level system requirements

Performing and documenting a detailed software design

Programming in C, C++, or JAVA using standard development/debug environments and industry-standard tools such as issue tracking i.e., JIRA/TRAC, SVN/GIT

Knowledge of Ruby, Python, Bash, SQL, Java Script / HTML / CSS, MATLAB

Network Application Development i.e., socket programming

Database experience i.e., PostgreSQL preferred

Linux
