Solutions Engineer:
Is the primary technical solutions resource for the North-American sales team, responsible for diagnosing and developing integrated packaging solutions for customers across all market verticals.
A Solutions Engineer at Packsize works to research existing processes, identify the customer needs, align customer requirements with Packsize technologies; In conjunction, works with the Packsize Sales Team to drive the development, presentation and delivery of technical solutions.
Successful professionals in this role must be able to articulate hardware and software technology, product positioning and value creation to audiences within all levels of the organization.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Conceptualize how Packsize products and solutions impact customer value streams in a variety of industries and verticals
  • Assist the Sales Teams by driving technical components of the business case through diagnostic analysis of direct labor, material savings, shipping cost reduction, and packaging needs
  • Develop engineering solutions incorporating customer process/data flows and layouts
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams to implement Packsize solutions
  • Partner with Product Management, Data Integration, Research and Development teams to improve Packsize products and engineering solutions
  • Collaborate with Sales and Field Operations teams to continuously improve Sales Engineering and Project Management

You Are:

  • Experienced in complex, solution-based sales within related technologies
    • Material Handling Equipment
    • Automated Storage Retrieval Systems
    • Automated Movement Robots
  • Desire To work at the intersection of products, technologies and business development
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting targets within positions of increasing responsibility and ownership
  • Strong with presentation skills and are able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, requests for product specifications and when submitting reports
  • Organized and analytical, able to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
  • Successful at selling in complicated sales surroundings, both technical and business buyers
  • Able to travel up to 50%.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Ability to work from a home office

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Bilingual Fluent in Spanish
  • Industrial Engineering experience or a related field
  • Experience in diagnostic, technical sales or consulting
  • Experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain or business analysis
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, office software tools
  • Demonstrated expertise/experience in project management/change management
  • Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement tools.
