MRV Banks is calling all customer service professionals who are interested in a Summer Internship in Cape Girardeau to apply to join our amazing team!

This customer service position works onsite Monday-Friday, 10am-2pm.

We started 15 years ago in Ste Genevieve. After 5 years we expanded to the Cape Girardeau community and continued our growth by focusing on getting things done and building relationships with people.
We provide financial solutions for customers and businesses in our communities. Our goal is to help people accelerate and achieve their financial goals and dreams through imaginative long-term banking relationships. We expanded to the Festus market over 4 years ago and opened our St. Charles branch in January of 2022. Our continued growth and success is due to our our amazing people that are solution oriented and have a growth mindset. ARE YOU A GOOD FIT?

This job has decision making that is made because of training and understanding the consequences of our actions. You will participate in our excellent training program so that you can be successful in this role. You will start by learning basic banking compliance and initial teller skills to get you started with teller transactions, answering phones, debit card creation/reissues, intranet reporting and contacting customers. We need you to provide our customers with exceptional service. Learning is ongoing as rules and regulations continuously changes as does our product and services to our customers. When a customer needs help with their banking they simply contact you. By asking a series of questions, you can get a good understanding of how you can help them. Being personable, patient and kind you listen and respond to customer needs. You are diligent and empathetic, you follow through and follow up with clients to ensure they are fully satisfied. When tense situations arise you are not easily flustered, but are diplomatic and work hard to diffuse the situation and ensure customers feel heard and their problems are resolved. At the end of the day you get great satisfaction out of helping others and solving problems.
