The DraftKings engineering team is looking for passionate, talented and resourceful interns to join us for the summer of 2023. We move quickly and are looking for individuals who will thrive in this challenging environment. As an engineer intern, you will be an integral member of our development teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with modern technologies on scalable, reliable systems that people use in a 24/7 sports betting market
  • Contribute to production code immediately
  • Care about agility as much as you care about scalability. We roll out products very quickly and are looking for a team that can pivot at a moment’s notice
  • Work side-by-side with engineers at all levels from new graduates to industry veterans

What You'll Need:

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent program
  • Experience writing working software, project format is a plus
  • Experience with version control systems ex. git (personal or coursework)
  • Exposure to object-oriented languages (e.g. C#, Java)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An understanding of testable software (unit testing, automated end-to-end testing)
