What You'll Do
What we are looking for:
Responsibilities

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows-based infrastructure in a large enterprise environment.

  • Knowledge of asset management suites, such as Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and/or Microsoft Intune, leveraged for maintenance of desktop clients including deploying task sequences and applications.

  • This role requires extensive familiarity with Windows environments including servers, active directory, GPOs, Exchange, SCCM, access controls, etc.

  • Need a high level of technical knowledge regarding Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.

  • This role encompasses back-end IT support for business-critical and development-related departments and personnel.

  • Configure user access and maintain the system stability and data security through deployment and migration.

  • Frequently involves both risk assessment and user support tasks.

  • Utilize expertise with Windows operating system and server administration to develop and deploy servers, support day-to-day system performance, and prevent data loss and unauthorized access.

  • Must have Analytical skills - this is a highly analytical role, required to interpret error logs, monitor system performance data, and assess user information to ensure server reliability.

  • Must have communication skills because they frequently work with both IT professionals and end users, this role requires effective written and verbal communication skills.

Must Haves

  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2003-2016) /desktop Operating Systems (XP/7/10/11)

  • Experience managing deployments/rollouts

  • Strong Active Directory management - AD/LDAP user and group administration, Group policy design and configuration, AD FS setup experience

  • Experience with automated patching solutions (i.e. SCCM)

  • Certificate Management

  • M365 Experience

  • Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying lengths

  • Windows Administration: 5 years (Required)

  • Windows Server Management: 5 years (Required)

  • Active Directory: 3 years (Required)

  • SCCM: 3 years (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related area) preferred

  • Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired

  • Microsoft365: 1 year (Preferred)
