    As an Advanced Analytics Intern in Earth Sciences and Engineering you will join a growing team challenging what's possible in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC)industry. We are open to hire interns a year around. Locations: San Diego CA, New York NY, Boston MA, Richmond VA, or Washington DC. Fully remote may be possible for the right candidate.

     What you will be doing:

    • Shaping our company's future as a leader in advanced analytics and emerging technologies
    • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists across the company to design, influence, execute, measure, and improve engineering design workflows and client experiences through software and analytics
    • Working with data engineers on complex datasets and data standardization
    • Supporting data acquisition and analysis of remote sensing and instrumentation projects
    • Producing engaging data visualizations
    • Working with the team to develop large-scale predictive models
    • Participating in client meetings and presentations

     

    What you need for this position:

    • Pursuing a B.S., M.S., or doctoral degree in a relevant engineering discipline in the United States
    • Working knowledge of computer programming (preferably Python)
    • Adaptable, willing to learn new technologies and skills quickly
    • Relentless focus on improvement, both for yourself, and the team
    • Team attitude and the ability to interact well with internal staff, and project teams that will include other consultants, contractors, and clients

     

    Nice to have:

    • Advanced skillset in computer programming, experience analyzing complex datasets, a portfolio of relevant projects (on a personal website or GitHub).
