We welcome you to apply for our internship program. Become part of a team of Architects and Designers collaborating with our team of fully integrated Engineers providing design, documentation, construction, and consulting services to Commercial, Civic, Education, Research, and Industry clientele. Draw on and engage the global and local strength of Stantec. Travel to and work with clients across New York, New England and Pennsylvania.  

Develop and contribute to designs, evolve construction drawings, and communicate with teams of architects, engineers, and interior designers.  Interact with owners, contractors, permitting and planning authorities and professional organizations to deliver projects, strengthen relationships and advance your career.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist architects and designers in preparation of construction documents for bid and construction for Commercial, Industrial and Institutional Building projects. 
  • Preparation of drawings on Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Perform layout and detail work.
  • Perform site surveys for building conditions. Knowledge of Building Code a plus. 
  • Review shop drawings and submittals for building systems.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Candidate should have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and should have an interest and/or background in the building trades. 
  • Experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD software is a plus.
  • Candidate should be self-confident, driven, and possess good written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Candidate must be self-motivating and able to work in a group setting.  

Education and Experience

Minimum of 2 years completed in pursuit of a Bachelor of Architecture degree or similar credential with an emphasis in Architecture.
