Job Description

Join the Assembly Test Development factory in maintaining and developing factory-specific applications that are critical to Intel's success in IDM 2.0. Work with the customers to design, develop and then deploy applications in support of the manufacturing environment. Work with an up-to-date software stack and develop applications from database through to user interface, deploying applications using CI/CD to containers on Intel's internal cloud. Expect to get lots of hands-on experience and the chance to work with a dynamic and collaborative team with a rapid delivery cadence. Position will entail combining in-depth factory systems knowledge and manufacturing principles with software development skills. There are also opportunities to partner with the factory to train and empower self-service analysts.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Possess a bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience or master's degree with 2+ years of experience in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or other related field.

2+ years of experience with one or more of the following:

  • Full Stack or Web Application Developer
  • Angular/Typescript/JavaScript/HTML/CSS
  • Python/Django
  • SQL
  • Implementing MVC architecture

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience with one or more of the following:

  • Factory environment/manufacturing principles
  • Oracle, PL/SQL
  • Docker containers/Intel Cloud Foundry
  • Technical mentorship
  • Ruby-on-Rails
  • Node.js

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
