We’re looking for someone to join our team who can support Passfeed as a Payment Processing, Solutions Engineer to provide exceptional service to a portfolio of credit/debit card payment processing and payment gateway partners and help build the landscape for future growth.

 

Job Description:

  • A background that combines business experience and technical acumen
  • Create, gain support, and execute strategy for prioritizing, approaching, and securing payment processing relationships focused on value-added opportunities that directly align with business strategy
  • Work with all product teams, stakeholders, global product managers to convert product requirements into end-to-end technical requirements
  • Knowledge of payments landscape with understanding of payment gateway technology, APIs, Card Acquiring, eWallets, the global payments landscape and the surrounding ecosystems
  • Being the technical liaison for customers and partners, reviewing their existing systems, identify areas where Passfeed could fit in, and assist in scoping out the engineering work needed
  • Identify & maintain key operational metrics as well as identify opportunities for business process improvements across multiple card processors and processes
  • Directing strategic and operational activities across card processing portfolio management, credit/debit card processing, payment gateways, mobile & cloud based environments, digital wallet/tokenization, and fraud loss mitigation, while also actively seeking ways to change and improve the business units going forward
  • Assist in managing and developing documentation on new methods and integrations
  • Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and partners in relation to customer impacting payment issues and address escalations in a timely manner; Serving as the key technical contact for our customers and partners as they integrate with Passfeed
  • Stay updated and provide expertise on regulatory changes globally and assess implications together with industry dynamics through internal and external resources in compliance with company policies
  • Consult with appropriate regulatory agencies when required
  • Other ad hoc projects + duties as required

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or currently enrolled in an accredited university, 1-2+ years relevant experience (internships qualify)
  • A background in engineering, CS, physics, math, or another related field, and experience writing code for a production system
  • Excellent knowledge of web services, APIs, and related standards such as HTTP, REST, and OAuth
  • Strong relationship management and collaboration skills – ability to manage external vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills: Written, verbal, interpersonal & presentation skills
  • Self-starter who is able to quickly learn new tools and gain familiarity with new processes and technologies with minimal assistance
  • Results driven with the ability to work under pressure, navigate through ambiguity, draw linkages and balance multiple priorities
  • Strong observational, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong track record of achievements
  • Solid organizational skills and pays close attention to details
  • Highly adaptable, with a strong ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Google Workspace + MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
