All welding services, design, manufacturing, hardware and software development, testing, as well as research and development is conducted here. The Sciaky Summer Intern Program has been established to give opportunity to local college and technical students to acquire hands on experience in the manufacturing industry.


As an intern at Sciaky you will;


  • Be exposed to and participate in the assembly of mechanical, electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics assemblies including precise mechanical subassemblies, electrical panels and cabinets
  • Gathering information and components required to organize and manage multiple builds
  • Inspect and tests completed products to verify functionality
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, diagrams, work orders, specification manuals, and plans to determine material requirements and assembly instructions
  • Maintain inventory control as defined by operational procedures
  • Function in a team environment with supervisors and peers
  • Work with highly experienced mechanical, electrical, software, test and process engineers
Desired Qualifications:


  • Related Mechanical or Electrical engineering course work preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret machine prints and schematics
  • An understanding of problem solving / troubleshooting methodologies and tools
  • Must be able to manage time effectively
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Should have general knowledge about electrical, mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic devices used on industrial machinery
  • Must possess efficient organizational skills to follow timelines, prioritize, and multitask to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must demonstrate a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety, on time delivery, and quality of our products
Minimum Requirements


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 Years collage or equivalent technical training working toward an engineering or technical degree
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
  • Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Basic computer skills
Pay Range: $13 - $20 per hour.
