Job Description Summary

Assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of exciting next generation gaming software products. Work with other team members in a fast-paced iterative development environment, integrating new and innovative game mechanics and technologies into our game platforms. Intern: The person in this position works in a temporary or part time position with an emphasis on on-the-job training

SciPlay is a leading developer and publisher of digital games on mobile and web platforms, providing highly entertaining free-to-play games that millions of people play every day for their authenticity, engagement and fun.

SciPlay currently offers seven core games, including social casino games Jackpot Party Casino, Gold Fish Casino, Hot Shot Casino and Quick Hit Slots, and casual games MONOPOLY Slots, Bingo Showdown and 88 Fortunes Slots with offices all over the world!

Essential Job Functions

• Familiarize yourself with our development processes and coding styles so you are ready to effectively contribute your own code
• Write clear, well-commented code, that manages the overall integrity of a code-base including portability, extensibility and testability
• Engineer new code and work with/enhance an existing code base
• Pair up with other developers on our team to assist them in their development projects
• Develop tools and tests to improve development workflows
• Independently use software development tools like build systems, source control systems, and administrator tools as needed throughout the development process
• Participate in the code review process by discussing your code with other team members and reviewing their code as well
• Perform author testing on new code to proactively catch bugs before they become a larger issue
• Learn about what it means for code to be complete and production-ready
  

Education

Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
