What are the challenges and how will you make an impact?

You will be joining one of our newest and most strategic initiatives to build a cloud-based software-as-a-service unified security solution supporting access control, video, and monitoring capabilities. As part of the engineering team, you will work in a continuous delivery environment and contribute to features that directly impact our customers daily.

We need motivated engineers excited to work across software development, test automation, and infrastructure as we expand our product to meet customers’ growing needs.

What will you be doing?
Working with senior engineers, UX designers, security engineers, and product owners to deliver features directly to both internal and external customers
Leveraging persona-based development to ensure our products are meeting customers’ needs
Writing code to support product features, test automation, infrastructure, and deployment
Participating in peer review to both share and receive feedback
Designing, developing, testing, and demoing as needed withing a delivery team

What skills must you have?
You have a strong computer science background
You enjoy building secure, usable solutions
You have a desire to continuously improve and grow as an engineer
What would make us drop everything and pick up the phone to call you?
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and serverless architecture
Experience with JavaScript technologies including Node.js, React, and Cucumber
Knowledge of distributed systems, network security, automation tools, and system analysis
Experience building scalable solutions with zero-downtime deployment
Experience with low-voltage hardware and device communication
Knowledge and understanding of REST APIs
Education requirement
Working towards a Bachelor of Science or higher degree in a computer related field.
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Additional Requirements
US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
