Software Engineer

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Work in a small, agile team to design and build new products and enhance existing products
• Problem solve in a dynamic, exciting and collaborative environment
• Work closely with Product Management to identify, prioritize and document detailed product requirements
• Design and develop application and platform code in Java
• Create unit and integration tests to cover system functionality
• Coordinate with QA teams to test and validate system and performance testing

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Strong object-oriented design and Java development skills
• Preferably experience / familiarity with popular open-source frameworks such as spring
• Experience with noSQL and big data storage (elasticsearch)
• Hands-on experience building large scale, high-availability systems
• Familiarity building cloud applications
• Familiarity with REST preferred
• Ability to adapt and learn

• Familiarity with security and/or compliance industry helpful but not required

DEGREE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree in computer science and 3+ years of experience
