Motion Graphic Designer Internship

We are seeking a Motions Graphics Designer Intern to join our team and help us execute new and innovative content creation projects within TransPerfect.

This person will play a vital role in corporate and product marketing and must demonstrate exceptional knowledge and experience working with Adobe Creative Suite, print, web, and motion graphic software applications. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), be able to work independently, be able to prioritize and multi-task while meeting deadlines. They must be capable of executing projects from concept through production, juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet quick turnaround times while maintaining a high quality of work.

Description:

• Design and create enticing motion graphics for video deliverables. (corporate videos, eLearning, websites, marketing demos, etc
• Prepare design plan, concept and layout for motion graphic project.
• Create and deliver static and motion graphics.
• Work with art and creative teams to understand project scope and objectives.
• Work with editors, producers and other designers to resolve technical and/or design issues.
• Shoot and edit video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
• Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.
• Assist in designing and creating storyboards.
• Participate in brainstorming session to share new design perspectives and ideas.
• Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of graphic files.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about latest graphic design techniques.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines and design standards.
• Ensuring company branding standards are met in all areas of production operations.
• Perform other special projects or duties when required.

About You:

As a Junior Motions Graphics Designer you are a:

Your experience includes:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
• Strong Adobe After Effects and premiere pro skills, ideally with demonstrable experience in motion graphics
• Strong experiences of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
• Strong creative thinking, exhibiting a range or varied styles and techniques
• Ability to create high quality content from a loose or constrained brief with short deadlines
• Good understanding of video compression techniques and format requirements/constraints
• Good eye of details. organize skill
• Interface design skills preferable
• Good Cinema 4D or equivalent 3D package skills
• An artistic background with extensive portfolio
• Experience with a variety of 3rd party motion graphic plugins
• Producing motion graphic and 3D content
• Where applicable, producing motion graphics and 3D content from concept to delivery
• Working on multiple projects concurrently, balancing time constraints whilst maintaining quality
• Encoding, converting and editing videos and graphical sequences
• Understanding brands and producing work of a suitable style
• Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
