We are searching for a motivated Engineering Intern to join our exploitation and analysis group to explore the career of a Reverse Engineer. The ideal candidate will grow his/her knowledge and skills within our Reverse Engineering Lab by experimenting on hardware and software in order to exploit and characterize these technologies. The co-op will be applying their knowledge and skills in an ever evolving learning program to prepare them for a future as a Reverse Engineer.

Required Skills

  • Studying computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, cyber security, or STEM related discipline
  • Basic knowledge of hardware and software principles and tools
  • Interest and/or experience working with design recovery, software analysis, and/or reverse engineering tools
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following: Ghidra, IDA-Pro, VHDL, Verilog, digital forensics, Java, Python, XML, HTML, C#, Objective C, RF, wave theory, or electronic principles
  • Sustained excellence in academic performance
  • High level desire to help their nation solve its most critical problems
  • Exhibits the characteristics of a continuous learner
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with embedded systems development or hardware programming
  • Motivated self-starter with a strong willingness to learn advanced analysis techniques to support reverse engineering of assets
  • Willing to work alongside senior engineers to learn from experts and explore the tradecraft
