Job Description

Join one of Intel's premier software development teams to solve challenging problems through the creation of high-performance C++ algorithms. Our team is responsible for creating layout automation capabilities that enable chip designers to fully utilize next-generation manufacturing processes and best in class product design convergence.
We are looking for a software engineer that enjoys solving challenging geometric problems using multi-threaded algorithms that are time and space efficient. In addition to solving problems through applied software engineering practices, our team assists Design Technology Co-Optimization efforts, layout creation, and assembly. You will experience teamwork in a very collaborative and interactive working environment.

In This Role Responsibilities Include, Although Not Limited To

  • Create layout automation capabilities that enable chip designers to fully utilize next-generation manufacturing processes and best in class product design convergence.

  • Assists Design Technology Co-Optimization efforts, layout creation, and assembly.

In addition to the qualifications listed below, the ideal candidate will demonstrate the following traits:

  • Excellent communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team of experienced engineers.

  • Enjoy creating innovative algorithms to solve challenging geometric puzzles.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must be currently pursuing a Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or an equivalent degree with 3+ months experience in the following:

  • C++ software development.

  • Familiarity with Unix OS.

  • Analytical and debugging knowledge .

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of multi-threading.

  • Object-oriented design and architecture.

  • Digital logic and CMOS circuit or layout VLSI design principles and techniques.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:

$52,000.00-$147,000.00

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
