MUST HAVE:

2+ Years, Bare minimum: work with Java, Python, and some form of SQL

Improve Data Loading components across the data sets

NICE TO HAVE:

C++ OR GO (for Calculations)

AWS

Postgres

Frameworks: Spring Boot, Serverless, Vue

Cloud: AWS EMR, Spark, Athena

INTERVIEW PROCESS:

Phone screening – 20-30 min

HackerRank test – self-directed, 70 min, will ask about SQL, Java, and Python

Video interview with Head of Development Team and 2 developers – there will be a screen-share with 1 coding question as well as your basic Behavioral interview – 1 hr

Final Video interview and Hiring Decision – 30min

Our Technology Stack:

• Languages: Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, Go
• Databases: Postgres, MS SQL Server, RDS, Aurora
• Frameworks: Spring Boot, Serverless, Vue
• Data Analysis: AWS EMR, Spark, Athena

The Software Engineer Will:

• Have 2+ years of experience with a mix of Java, Python, SQL, and cloud experience.
• Go, Vue, React, or JavaScript would be a plus.
• Develop applications accessing large financial data sets
• Assist with the troubleshooting of production support issues
• Enjoy the challenge of researching data issues to maintain quality in our large data sets
• Gain an understanding of the complex math associated with Options
