Job Description:

Are you looking for the opportunity to push yourself and work with new technologies on a daily basis? As a Services Integration Developer Student, you will get the opportunity to work hands-on with all of our code base and breadth of software, enabling our customer’s success with QNX. From design reviews to debugging and verifying on customized bleeding edge hardware, you will be in the center of it all. Location: Novi, Michigan

Length of Term: 8 Months

What You Will Do

• Work on next-generation embedded products, assisting customers in integrating QNX within their project
• Investigate and resolve difficult and complex product problems by applying knowledge of design principals, procedures and practices
• Verify software released to customers
• Investigate ways to analyze kernel instrumentation
  

Who We Are Looking For

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree program pursuing an Engineering degree
• Programming experience in C and scripting languages
• Experience with microprocessor-based systems design and common peripherals like UART, SPI and I2C
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An eagerness to learn and solve problems
  

Above and beyond

• Familiarity with QNX, Linux or other UNIX-like / POSIX compliant operating systems
• Knowing how to read PCB schematics
• Programming experience in Java
• Familiarity with machine learning and pattern matching
