Full Stack Engineer

About the job

Hoptek Software Engineers will be full-stack engineers contributing to the design and development of complex front end, back-end systems, Microservices, databases, APIs, web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

Database design and detailed technical requirements to support the product goals

Wireframing, layout design of complex projects and prototyping where required

Responsible for coding and/or parts of assigned projects

Maintaining code / design quality as per set guideline and standards

Testing of completed tasks in ongoing projects

Remove technical impediments

Facilitating code / design reuse and efficient open source code integration.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience

5-10 years of experience developing complex web applications connected to various database backend and other external microservices

Demonstrated ability to find creative ways to assemble open source solutions with custom made code into cost effective software solutions

Understanding of AWS or similar cloud-based architecture and in the design and deployment of micro services-based systems with connectivity to mobile devices and a variety of other external services

Experience with open sources CMS.

Skills:

Software Skills: Full Stack Development, MySQL, NodeJS, SQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS

Cloud infrastructure, Docker, AWS or Azure

Agile. Working knowledge of Agile processes and ceremonies. Azure DevOps or Jira.
