As a recognized global Software as a Service leader, Salesforce provides the opportunity for collaboration, eCommerce and marketing campaign outreach for brands of all sizes, industries and locations around the world. We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Program Management strategist to join the Commercial Deal Programs Team as part of the Center of Excellence Organization.
Candidates must be diligent, passionate about helping sales and solutions teams succeed, successful program and project managers, problem solvers, and skilled communicators who possess excellent presentation sills. In this role, you will gain knowledge of and exposure to company products across platforms while working in an encouraging team environment.
What You Will Do
The Program Management Strategist will be responsible for driving the successful implementation and adoption of a third party demo automation software used by our internal sales organization throughout the United States. The purpose of the role is to drive measurable success for every stakeholder (both internal and external), which means; a) drive adoption of the tool and buyer enablement practices amongst the sales team; b) help our internal partners (sales leaders, solutions leaders, product marketing, programs, etc) to achieve measurable outcomes; and c) build internal multipliers and promoters of the initiative.
Successful candidates will be familiar with the B2B sales world, understand the changing landscape of B2B sales in a digital-first environment, and have experience influencing behavioral change in an organization.
Primary Responsibilities May Include
Support aligned team members to ensure success with buyer enablement initiatives in their operating unit.
Being the trusted partner for team members on use-cases and product functionality.
Create and distribute best practices to team members and advise groups when updates to processes occur to ensure successful implementation of the third party tool.
Coordinating across various cross-functional teams at Salesforce, including partnering with the content creation team to create content that supports business needs.
Aligning with sales programs, product marketing, and the solutions organization to prioritize content creation for the business unit.
Ability to identify trends and recommend opportunities for improvement in regards to third party tool usage.
Delivering, measuring, and communicating performance metrics and business impact to stakeholders. Creation of action plans to course correct if needed.
Participate in and lead impactful projects that drive efficiencies for the team and help support internal partners.
Drive and deliver pivotal initiatives and cross-functional programs. Serve as change agent by stimulating, communicating, and institutionalizing business process improvements.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience
Past project and program management experience
Customer service experience, SaaS sales experience is a plus
Success in navigating across people, process and geographies
Experience with navigating in a sophisticated, highly-matrixed organization
Experience with change initiation and management, identifying gaps and removing obstacles
Shown capability of leading conversations and presentations with internal senior and executive management
Ability to influence action
