Job Description
Design and Patterning AI group under Intel's Technology Development organization is looking for a passionate, results-oriented, and innovative frontend software engineer to develop mission-critical web applications for our design and process teams.
As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will work with our backend engineers, data scientists to develop applications that improve patterning solutions, decrease process debug time, improve design efficiency, and bridge the gap between design and manufacturing.
You will develop innovative visualization components in React.js to help make sense of the billions of datapoints collected and create a powerful user experience to enable the design and process engineering team to look and understand the respective team's concerns. Also, you will work closely with a talented group of engineers who are experts in their fields and take on challenging real-world problems to advance Intel's march along IDM 2.0 strategy.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications listed below, to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school/work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must be pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or other relevant related degrees with a software focus.

12+ months of work or educational experience in Javascript, familiarity with latest Ecmascript versions, asynchronous programming (async/await/promises)

12+ months experience of work or educational experience in React.js, React hook, and component-based architecture

6+ months of development experience in a Linux environment
Preferred Qualifications

Candidate must have the required degree or expect the required degree by December 2022

Experience with popular React.js workflows like Redux

Familiarity with CSS and popular design frameworks like Boostrap

Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
