Senior Associate Tech Intern Program Lead

Within Student & Grad Recruiting & Programs, we have our Tech Campus Programs that include our high-volume Tech Internship Program and Tech Development Program.

 

The Tech Internship Program team is seeking a Program Manager to support the internship program. They will be responsible for the onboarding process and ensuring a seamless transition for Interns into Capital One. Additionally, the Program Manager will be responsible for different workstreams, potentially including Intern engagement (weekly newsletters), mentorship initiatives and the conversion process.

 

The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing new talent as well as proven experience leading projects in a well-managed way. You should be excited about the opportunity to influence strategic decisions using a data-backed approach. We are looking for team-players who are solution-oriented, are comfortable working in some ambiguity, and have excellent communication skills.

 

Core responsibilities will vary but may include:

  • Program execution and management

  • Consulting and problem solving on campus associate-related matters

  • Large scale event and meeting facilitation

  • Communications support

  • Driving key components of program strategy and influencing decisions

  • Stakeholder relationship management and communication between our talent and the business partners that support and fund the talent

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • At least 1 year of experience working in program management or at least 1 year of working in employee development or engagement or a combination of both

  • At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, consulting, or HR or at least 3 years of experience in marketing or a combination of these

  • Experience with project management

  • Experience with event management

  • Experience interpreting metrics and trends

  • Experience in Powerpoint and Excel OR Google Suite (Sheets and Slides)
