The GroupM IT team in WPP IT are the technology solutions partner for the GroupM group of agencies and are accountable for co-ordinating and assuring end-to-end change delivery, managing the GroupM IT technology life-cycle and innovation pipeline.This role will work as part of the Local Systems Team for EMEA. It will be responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of various local applications. It will be responsible for developing and designing user interactive applications, automated workflows for various business initiatives which would allow the business to achieve their KPIs and goals. It will also play a crucial role, by working with the business, in gathering requirements and translating complex technical requirements into effective and succinct requirements.
What you'll be doing:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain application phases, codes and software.
- Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging, as well as recommending changes to improve the established process.
- Prepare detailed technical design documents for requirements to be implemented.
- Involve in user story refinement process.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Support incident investigation fix and documentation for issue resolution.
- 1-3 years’ experience in application development.
- In depth experience with Microsoft products and tools, such as VB6, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Azure
- Experience in working with REACT
- Experience in working with the Azure Platform
- Experience with O365 SaaS development applications, such as PowerApps, Power BI, MS Flow, etc is a plus.
- Familiar in working with Agile/Scrum/Scrumban methodologies
- Ability to quickly learn and understand new products, new IT systems and tools.
- A proactive, “can do” (initiative), “flexible” mindset with a desire to help the team wherever the needs are (team player).
- Desire to join a dynamic team and grow by learning and doing
