Zoot Enterprises is looking for a Software Developer Intern to work on meaningful and important projects within our Core Software Integration team. This internship is within Core Software Integration (CSI) Group at Zoot focuses on developing and software solutions to perform integration and back-end processes that manipulate, analyze, and transport sensitive data in a secure, distributed environment.

This Internship Is Project Based And Will Focus On

• CSI JIRA project reorganization
• Migration of svn onto bitbucket for CSI software
• Code Cleanup
  

The CSI Team within Zoot is responsible for designing, developing and documenting the software for integrating Zoot’s tools including monitoring, consolidation, archiving, deployment and reporting.

What We’re Looking For In This Role

• Currently working on a 2 or 4 year degree in Computer Networking, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field
• Must have a positive attitude and desire to collaborate with a team
• Must be able to quickly establish and earn trust and approach difficult situations with a high degree of integrity and taking accountability for actions; must be comfortable admitting mistakes and doesn't misrepresent themselves or the facts for personal gain
• Demonstrated ability to follow a project plan, seek out assistance when needed, and take direction from members of the CSI team
• Must have the ability to communicate well, in both written and verbal forms, with various stakeholders to understand their needs and align those to the project or Company's needs
• Must demonstrate an eagerness to learn in an established professional environment
  

Education, Training, And Experience

Physical Requirements

• All positions at Zoot require the ability to move about inside an office environment which includes the operation of computers and other office productivity machinery and frequently communicates with other employees, clients, vendors, and visitors.
• This position specifically requires long periods of sitting at a computer workstation.

• This position will take place primarily in an office setting.
• This position will require travel 0% of the time.
