Job Overview:
Work in the Engineering group, monitoring the slack channels and emails for the alerts on the Production Systems
Skill-Sets Needed:
-
Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large distributed software applications

Proactive approach to spotting problems
-
Knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux) and networking fundamentals and server hardware
-
Good to know any one scripting language such as Shell scripting (or) Python
-
Working on-call shift to prevent incidents from ever happening
Roles & Responsibilities:

Monitor on a daily basis all the production system alerts on slack channels and emails and make a daily report.

Communicate and collaborate with engineering team to respond to alerts
-
Document responses and actions to alerts as a runbook
